NEXUS is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program geared towards travelers who frequently travel between the U.S. and Canada to expedited crossings at land, marine and air borders in the US and Canada. By road, NEXUS members will find special and faster lanes for their crossing. When flying, NEXUS includes all TSA PreCheck and Global Entry benefits as well as access to NEXUS kiosks when arriving in Canada.
NEXUS members can use their cards at 17 U.S.-Canada land border crossings, including crossing ports in New York, Michigan and Washington, and many other locations.
U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian citizens, Canadian permanent residents, and Mexican nationals. Applicants under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian’s consent to participate in the program.
