Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (Sentri) is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program geared towards travelers who frequently travel from Mexico Canada to expedited crossings at land, marine and air borders in the US and Canada

Sentri is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance at Sentri specific lanes for pre-approved, low-risk travelers, driving or walking into the U.S borders from Canada and Mexico. Sentri members also have access to TSA PreCheck lanes at airports within the US and overseas territories.

Applicants intending to cross the border traveling in a vehicle, must register their vehicles onto the program. As part of the process, applicants are required to attend and interview and present personal and car related documents as well as taking their vehicles for inspection.

Sentri Eligibility:

U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents and all foreign nationals. Applicants under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian’s consent to participate in the program.
